Disney WORLD!!

A couple of weeks ago I got the opportunity to go to Disney World and then on an amazing cruise through the Caribbean. A group of 10 of us partied from June 10th - 21st. It was a graduation gift from my best friend and I loved every second of it. We saw so many amazing things and just so many memorable moments that I will never forget.
This is Cinderella's Castle. If you look closely you can see the princesses in front of the door way. Disney World was neat and huge. There are multiple parks and they are so spread out and you can't just walk to them quickly. We were there for about 3 days but I think to see all of Disney World you need a week.

In Animal Kingdom, there was an upside down tree.

Dinner in Down Town Disney at an Irish restaurant. There was live music and Irish dancing throughout dinner. It was awesome!

Striking a perfect pose in front of the Pleasure Island sign. We definitely got some funny looks by people walking by.

Arrrrr....Pirates at Magic Kingdom.

Disney World was so neat but I was sweaty, Florida weather is a little different than California.

Thank you again for the WONDERFUL Trip!!!

Ryan is ready to start working for Ryan Potato Co.
In other states 7-11 = Loaf 'n Jug
My big brother at his desk! He works for city planning in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks! His has his own office and a Man desk! So proud of him!

We are home in Hollister for a day to basically pack and see family then we are actually flying to Florida to go to Disney World and go on a cruise through the Caribbean. Thank you Sandi and Steve for the amazing graduation gift! We are so excited to go and spend time with our close friends and their family. Ry has never been on a cruise, so I'm excited for him! If we has internet I'll try and post some pictures from our trip.

We have been very blessed and are enjoying traveling/vacationing and experiencing many new things. I love going places with boyfriend Ryan!

A Great Road Trip

Ryan and I just got home yesterday from our road trip to North Dakota to accompany my brother Matt on his drive back.

We drove a total of 2,450 miles and visited seven states - Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota.

I actually drove the farthest and being a night owl I finished the drive and got to watch the sunrise arriving to ND Sunday morning at 6:30 AM.

We saw so many amazing sites and the land was soo beautiful and open!

It was an amazing experience and I love watching my brother and Ryan hangout.

They laugh and giggle at each other and it is so cute and impossible not to laugh at.

Throughout our trip we camped and also couch surfed.

Here are a couple more pictures from the rest of our trip...

ENJOY!

In Utah we couch surfed with a house full of Mormon guys that were very high energy, crazy rock climbing, thrill seeking dudes. Note to self there is just water in that red cup of mine. haha!!!

Ry and I standing on big spindles of hay in Wyoming.
They should really take this off maps, it was super lame and closed because it was for sale. Of course we took a detour to check it out too.
All Sierra does is sleep! She is the best dog traveler. Matt caught her mid yawn for a great picture!
This is the girl Kim we couch surfed with in Wyoming. We were the first couch surfers she's ever had. She was very kind and even made us dinner. She will be traveling to Europe soon so it was fun to share stories with her and tell her the places and things she should see.

We had the BEST trip and thank you to my brother Matt for paying for all the gas and my plane ticket and making this trip amazing and unforgettable! Love you and miss you already!

Zion National Park

Here are some more pictures from our road trip. We are currently in Wyoming tonight couch surfing with a girl that goes to school at the college here. These pictures are from the other day in Zion National Park.
There was only one hike that we could take the dogs on.
These pictures don't do the sites justice but the mountains are HUGE and gorgeous!
We were all sweaty from hiking that we decided to jump in the Virgin river in our unders. As you can see they are in the bottom left of the picture. haha! It was a long way back everyone going commando! :)

This was the view we woke too.
Our evening hike towards the narrows of Zion's mountains. We couldn't get all the way to the corner because of flash floods.

We are having a great time! Tomorrow we are driving to South Dakota to see Mt. Rushmore and then Sunday to North Dakota. The sites have been beautiful and the land is just open and so much sky. I drove 380 miles today and of course got pulled over. It was actually kind of funny. We were just driving and singing and saw some antelope so I pulled over really so we could take a picture and of course I pulled of the road 60 to stopping in like a couple seconds. And yes there was a cop that had been following me and my speed has been fluctuating for a while. Thank God the cop was nice and let me go without a ticket! I have gotten really lucky in this department.

Well life on the road has been fun and full of jokes and laughing!

More Pictures...

Another state crossed!

First time threw Arizona! I found a Mile 0 sign laying on the ground so the normal thing is to pick it up and pose.

Matt caught a lizard, it was neat and had spots. Ruby and Sierra had a blast trying to chase down lizards.

State #3...UTAH!

The dogs are excited to sit in the back seat and parting with me. All smiles all the time.

Ryan found this sign to be hilarious!

I Fell Into a Valley of Fire!

Hi everyone,

This is Ryan, guest-blogging on Kristina's site! We're trekking across the western US, making our way up to North Dakota, and are currently stationed at the house of some locals in Provo, Utah, home of Brigham Young University. However, our journey began much earlier, and our first stop was in Valley of Fire State Park, about 45 minutes outside of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Check out the pics below, and expect some more from Kristina!

This is us camped out at the state-line leaving California and entering Nevada. We're trying to take a picture by the sign of every new state we enter.
(side note from K- we are trying to pole dance)

Although this wasn't our first view of it, this was our first destination, Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. We rolled in at about 1AM in pitch black, after not having seen a car for about 20 miles.
This is Kristina now as you may realize the grammar and word choice will be not as profound! The campground was essentially empty, and sooo fricken windy! Our tent would blow like crazy every 35 seconds. It was basically like someone was shaking our tent. We didn't sleep much so to say. The picture above is of Ry climbing up one of the cliffs.

And that is a picture of me from above. Thats me and the dogs.

Matt, Sierra and Ruby at the camp site. We had no idea of the surroundings until the morning and it was amazing!

This picture is a story of our relationship, me trying to mack on Ry and him just looking at me! Matt took this picture just high lighting the orange.

Road Trip

My brother Matt, Ry and I are road tripping to North Dakota.

We have driven to 3 states already, Nevada, Arizona and now Utah.

We are currently in Utah in a McDonald's parking lot getting some internet.

We drove through Vegas and camped the last to nights, one night in the Valley of Fire and last night Zion National Park.

We saw some Beautiful Sites, Hiked and took a dip in the Virgin River.

All is well and we are still kicking!

We are couch surfing tonight in Provo, Utah.

Pictures to come...hopefully!
